THE HJÁLMRS
Symbols of strength, cunning, and dominance, the Hjálmrs are distant relatives of those worn by the Ancients. Unearthed from Precambrian banded iron deposits near Lake Superior, forged in the Monongahela Valley, then finally emblazoned with sacred markings in Reseda, the Hjálmrs are indeed a fitting prize for the victors. Named after Odin’s sons, Hjérmod and Hjödur were gods of war in their own right, yet each possessed a different skillset that made them lethal in battle.

HJÉRMOD
The thinking man’s warrior, Hjérmod was precise, controlled and tactical. Cold-blooded in his strategy, he was a master of surprise, outflanking his enemies and laying ambushes to devastating effect. Symbolized by its symmetrical horns and precise engraving, Hjérmod is awarded to the smart, crafty winning-team member who best plays the game within the game.

HJÖDUR
In contrast to his brother, Hjödur was the furious berserker, a force of nature who was said to enter a trance-like state in battle and engage in reckless all-out fighting. Hjödur’s ferocity and brutality are represented in its asymmetrical horns and off-kilter engraving. This Hjálmr is presented to the winning team member who cares not for his own safety and plays with his hair on fire.
