It was once again time to steel ourselves for battle as PPV returned to Vigriõr, aka "Battle Island," the heavily fortified Fortress of the Bréitmäyær Clan in the high ground of Silver Lake. With its epic view of the City of Angels, there was no more fitting location for Ping Pong Valhalla's Midsommar Maelstrom #3 and the furious Pong melees that filled Odin and his mighty Valkyries with delight.

A few words of caution were shared: Vigriõr's high elevation was known to cause altitude sickness, which in some cases had been life-threatening. Our team of (unlicensed) PPV medics was on hand to monitor competitors for symptoms including headache, nausea, shortness of breath, and the inability to Pong. Treatment protocols including high doses of Dexamethasone mixed with bourbon aided in decreasing altitude-induced brain swelling.*

*This treatment has also proved to be fatal. (Again, these guys were not certified.)
